Bhoomi Karnataka Land Records

Nowadays, most state governments in India aim at computerizing all departments in order to maintain important records. This will help users to get information easily when they are looking for certain services. Bhoomi is an online portal developed by the Karnataka Government that provides ways to access land record information with ease. The primary objective of this portal is to make the land records open to citizens who live in Karnataka and other states of India. In fact, it gives ways to know the details of land owned by farmers that can help to transfer the title for agriculture and other purposes.

Another thing is that the portal will issue RTC, mutation extract, mutation status, and Tappan documents to farmers and citizens through kiosk centers. The farmers can benefit a lot from Bhoomi portal which can help to get all types of services in one place. RTC stands for the record of rights, Tenancy and crop information enabling farmers to apply for loans and insurance that gives ways to accomplish goals in the crop production. Apart from that, it provides ways to meet essential needs in the land buying and selling process. One can even view dispute case reports on the portal which can help to make a better decision while investing money in land.

Why should farmers use Bhoomi portal?

The Bhoomi portal is extremely helpful for farmers when it comes to land records. RTC contains important details such as landowner name, land type, measurement, soil type, crops grown, water rate, and so on. It even offers a wide range of facilities for farmers and some of them include:

  • Enables farmers to get loans against the property after obtaining the records
  • Allows farmers to print a copy of the RTC after furnishing the name
